6 Shots, Or Only 5?
***

The most notable aspect here is the return of Sunny (now Suni), Harry's downstairs neighbor that he first met in Magnum Force.  Unfortunately, despite the fact that she is the main reason for Harry's involvement in the plot, her role is not much bigger than it was in the film.  There is a brief attempt to fill us in on what has happened since the film, but a little more interaction between their characters would have earned this entry some significance.

The story does make good use of Chinatown, with Harry fending off an attack by nunchaku-wielding thugs, and a shoot-out in a Chinese restaurant a la The Dead Pool.  It also finds Harry determined to earn his nickname, as he gets dirty by gouging one attacker's eye out, and coercing information from another using a hot stove.

There are also several chase sequences, including an attempt by Harry to escape via ambulance and a motorcycle pursuit by Harry that doesn't really go anywhere.

Never really thought of it as a game
In the series' most unusual analogy, Dirty Harry is compared to Pacman!
